Job Description
As a Junior Functional Analyst, your role involves supporting business and operational initiatives by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, providing system configuration support, conducting quality testing, and offering user support. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that business requirements are well-understood, tested, and translated into effective system and process solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and functional requirements
- Support process mapping and operational workflow analysis activities
- Work with business users to understand current-state processes, pain points, and future-state needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Support system configuration, validation, and implementation activities
- Participate in quality assurance and testing activities, including:
- Creating and executing test scripts and test scenarios
- Supporting system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Validating functional and operational workflows
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution
- Performing regression testing for system enhancements and fixes
- Verifying data accuracy and expected system behavior
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and validate solutions
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and validation activities
- Support end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer efforts
- Maintain project documentation including requirements, process flows, meeting notes, test cases, and testing results
- Participate in operational and project meetings to support solution alignment and delivery
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, testing efficiencies, and operational enhancements
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- 02 years of business analysis, operations, systems support, or quality testing experience
- Internship, project-based, or entry-level analyst/testing experience preferred
Functional & Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and requirements gathering
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and defect tracking processes preferred
- Understanding of system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to organize, validate, and interpret data and business information
- Understanding of project lifecycle and implementation processes preferred
- Exposure to WMS, ERP, or operational systems is a plus
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies quickly
