SAIC is seeking a Data Architect/Consultant with expertise in Databricks to design and implement an enterprise-level data environment. This role will focus on creating data pipelines, setting up a scalable platform, and delivering actionable insights through data visualization. The ideal candidate will align data management strategies to organizational objectives and establish robust data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an enterprise data platform using Databricks and develop robust data pipelines.
• Build data visualization tools to provide impactful insights for decision-making.
• Define and enforce data governance rules and procedures, ensuring secure and effective data usage.
• Map data assets to enterprise strategic objectives to enable alignment with organizational goals.
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Typical Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD or JD with 9+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, data pipelines, and large-scale enterprise data solutions.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, integration, and compliance practices.
• Proven track record of aligning data strategies with business objectives.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
