Research Chemist - Process R&D - Peptide

• Excellent knowledge of peptide chemistry for the synthesis of advanced peptide intermediates and peptide API’s
• Expertise in both solid and liquid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS & LPPS), with hands-on experience in process development and optimization
• Experience of the cleavage and isolation of peptides would be advantageous
• Proven ability to scale-up processes, troubleshoot synthesis/purification challenges, and support GMP and non-GMP manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety practices in laboratory operations
• Experience on the downstream processing of peptides would be an advantage
• Good experience/knowledge on interpretation of analytical data
• Experience using electronic notebooks for experiments would be an advantage
• Preference will be given to candidates from CDMO/CRAMS/API background with peptide experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of Fmoc/Boc chemistry, peptide modifications, and use of advanced automated synthesizers
• Exposure to routine development documentation (e.g. customer updates, batch protocols, development reports, etc) and tech transfer activities would be advantageous

Qualification: MSc - Organic Chemistry

Experience: 2-10 years with experience in Upstream & Downstream.
