Key Responsibilities Diagnostics: Using computerized equipment and testing systems to identify mechanical or electrical issues. Repair & Maintenance: Repairing or replacing worn parts (brakes, engines, transmissions) and performing routine maintenance. Inspection & Testing: Conducting test drives and safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repair timelines for client invoicing. Customer Service: Advising service advisors on necessary repairs and explaining issues to clients. Shop Safety: Adhering to safety regulations, maintaining a clean workspace, and properly handling hazardous materials Common Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in an auto repair shop. Valid driver’s license. Deep knowledge of automotive systems.
