Role Overview: As an Electrician, your main responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on marine vessels and shipyard equipment. You will be required to perform wiring, testing, and commissioning of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Troubleshooting and rectifying electrical faults in motors, control panels, lighting systems, and power distribution networks will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will need to carry out cable laying, panel wiring, and electrical testing onboard marine vessels. Attending to electrical breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining records of completed electrical work will be essential tasks.
