Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.
• Bag groceries neatly and assist customers with their purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Answer customer questions and direct them to appropriate departments or products.
• Assist with returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Ensure shelves are faced and products are in their correct locations near the front end.
• Help customers and fellow associates, providing assistance whenever needed.
• Take pride in the work you do, whether big or small, contributing to a positive store environment.
