Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and result-driven Sales Leaders to lead and scale our Corporate Insurance business in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. This role requires a robust leader with proven experience in driving revenue growth, managing large teams, and handling end-to-end insurance portfolios across corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong business pipeline, leadership exposure, and deep expertise across commercial insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop SafeTree's respective regional offices through hiring Sales Teams and driving overall revenue growth and business targets for the corporate insurance vertical. Manage and expand current portfolio, ensuring consistent business performance.
· Own P&L; for the regional office.
· Oversee end-to-end sales lifecycle, including pitching, deal structuring, and closure.
· Manage and lead cross-functional teams, including Relationship Managers, Underwriters, Claims, and Operations.
· Develop and implement sales strategies, expansion plans, and go-to-market approaches.
· Drive business across commercial insurance products including GMC, Fire, Marine, Liability, Surety Bonds, etc.
· Monitor key performance metrics and drive process improvements and operational efficiency of team.
· Identify recent market opportunities and contribute to business growth and diversification.
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum 15+ years of experience in insurance broking / corporate insurance sales
· Strong experience in managing teams of RM including Underwriting and Claims team
· Deep understanding of commercial insurance products (GMC, Fire, Marine, Liability, Surety Bonds, etc.)
· Strong network with corporate clients, insurance companies and decision-makers
· Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
