Job Description

Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. Apartment building. Office building. Tasks: Direct and control construction projects. Evaluate construction projects when modifying commercial, transportation or recreational facilities and real estate. Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate. Identify customers' needs . Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Plan and organize construction projects. Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Identify and solicit potential clients. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Project management. Computer and technology knowledge: Database management. MS Access. MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook.
