Line Cook( Indian Cusine Hakka and Tandoor)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
• Support other kitchen staff during busy periods and assist with meal assembly as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Uphold restaurant policies on serving, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Experience in Indian Tandoor.
• Experience with Hakka Indian food.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
• Knowledge of food industry best practices related to meal preparation and food safety
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and food handling procedures
• Excellent attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
