Job Description
Own the rebuild of a mission-critical internal platform and shape how our teams plan, book, and collaborate through smarter, fully integrated systems.
RUN Studios is seeking a Senior Web Applications Developer to lead the rebuild and stabilization of our web application environment, including restoring the development environment and resolving root-cause issues impacting applications hosted on Monday.com. This role will drive improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability while documenting application architecture and program flow to establish a sustainable technical foundation.
The Senior Web Developer will partner closely with the IT department and business stakeholders to define roadmap priorities, gather and translate requirements, and align development efforts with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate thrives operating autonomously, can independently manage complex workstreams, and brings experience leading technical initiatives from assessment through implementation, while providing clear recommendations on how RUN Studios should resource, maintain, and scale its web application ecosystem.
This is an anticipated 6-month contract role requiring on-site availability in Seattle to support collaboration with internal stakeholders.
As a Senior Web Applications Developer, You Will
- Rebuild, maintain, and enhance web applications hosted on Monday.com
- Investigate application failures, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes
- Document application architecture, workflows, and program logic
- Recommend tooling, resourcing, and best practices for optimizing web application usage
- Support related technical initiatives and ad hoc development needs
As an Applicant, You Bring
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack, Web or Applications Developer
- 1+ year of experience working with Monday.com or comparable SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of API integrations, including pulling data from external services, transforming it, and pushing it to third-party systems (e.g., Monday.com, Paycom)
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Python
- Experience with ReactJS and Node.js frameworks
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Jira, and Agile development practices
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and technical decision-making skills
- Experience migrating or modernizing enterprise applications in cloud environments
Bonus if You Have
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Pipedream or Zapier
- Deeper experience configuring and extending Monday.com integrations and automations

Compensation
Pay Range: $118,000 - $133,000 (Salary)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
