About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI/UX) for web and mobile applications, including our SaaS product and international client websites.

2. Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma based on project requirements and user needs.

3. Develop brand identities, including logos, brand guidelines, color systems, and typography, for client projects and internal products.

4. Design marketing creatives for Google Ads, social media campaigns, landing pages, and email campaigns for international clients (USA & Canada).

5. Create brand collateral, including brochures, presentations, social media posts, and marketing materials for clients and internal projects.

6. Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries for a consistent brand experience across products.

7. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.

8. Participate in design reviews, iterate based on feedback, and contribute ideas to improve user experience and visual quality.

9. Stay updated with current design trends, UI/UX best practices, branding trends, and emerging design tools.

10. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Other Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio-backed experience).
• 2. Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work, branding projects, and graphic design — portfolio is mandatory for shortlisting.
• 3. Proficiency in Figma (mandatory), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and Canva.
• 4. Solid understanding of design principles: typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy, branding, and responsive design.
• 5. Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) — you will work on projects for international clients (USA & Canada).
• 6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle constructive feedback to iterate on designs.
• 7. Experience or interest in working on SaaS products and design systems is a strong plus.
• 8. Knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects), basic video editing, or HTML/CSS basics is a bonus.
• 9. This is an on-site role at our new office in STPI Patna — candidates should be based in Patna or willing to relocate.
• 10. As our founding on-site team member in Patna, you should be comfortable working independently while collaborating remotely with our distributed team across India.
• 11. Be the founding on-site design hire at our new STPI Patna office — work directly with leadership and help shape the design culture as RWS scales its Patna team.
