Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Mental Health Therapist, based in Washington, DC, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. The therapist will carry out assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic services to clients. Responsibilities include conducting individual and/or family therapy sessions, supporting clients through life challenges, and ensuring quality care. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to maintain thorough documentation and engage with case management responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and computer skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate and client-centered care.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Must have an LCSW, LICSW, LGSW, LMFT, LMHC, LGPC, LPC, LCPC license in good standing with the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
- Organizational skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a holistic team approach.
- Prior experience with diverse populations or wellness-focused programs is an advantage.
