Job Description – Sales Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales operations across the assigned territory and consistently achieve minimum monthly and quarterly targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and ensure product availability and visibility across the network
- Monitor distributor stock levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage by onboarding new distributors, wholesalers and retailers
- Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors, wholesalers and retailers
- Monitor outstanding dues and follow up to minimize credit risk.
- Execute trade promotions, schemes, and in-store activities
- Track sales performance and submit daily/weekly reports
- Gather and report market intelligence (competitors, pricing, demand trends)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Sales, Marketing, or other related fields + 4 years of sales experience (FMCG preferred) or equivalent experience in the absence of a degree
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Basic computer skills
- Local market knowledge
Salary and Benefits:
- Monthly salary - ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 (including sales commission)
- Daily allowance & Travel allowance
- Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI)
- Performance based annual bonus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
