Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer with 7–8 years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should be a Nagpur-based local candidate and comfortable working from the office. You will be responsible for end-to-end Android application development and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Lead Android development activities and guide junior developers
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices
- Publish, update, and maintain applications on the Google Play Store
- Follow Agile/Scrum development processes
Required Skills
- 7–8 years of experience in Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components
- Experience with MVVM / MVP architecture
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON
- Experience with Firebase, push notifications
- Familiarity with Git / version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Good to Have:
- Experience with EPOS / POS applications (not mandatory)
- Experience with payment gateway integration
- Experience with hardware integration (barcode scanners, printers, card readers, etc.)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Candidate Preference:
- Nagpur local candidates only
- Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
