This opportunity is ideal for an accounting or finance professional with experience in cost analysis, budgeting, inventory or manufacturing cost structures, and financial reporting.The successful candidate will support business decision-making through detailed cost analysis, reporting, and process improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze product, project, or operational costs and identify trends or variancesPrepare cost reports, margin analysis, and financial summaries for managementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing processesMonitor inventory, labour, overhead, and production-related cost driversAssist with month-end close activities related to cost accountingReview and maintain standard costs and support cost allocation processesPartner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to improve cost visibility and accuracyInvestigate variances between actual and expected costs and provide recommendationsAssist in developing and improving reporting tools, controls, and proceduresSupport ad hoc financial analysis and business initiatives as needed
