Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Renton, WA
Position Type: Long-Term Contract
Experience Required: 3–5 Years
Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, 3pm to 11pm PST (2nd shift)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Portland, OR. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting end users in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically strong, and experienced in troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software issues.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Mac OS systems
· Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
· Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD
· Image, deploy, and refresh hardware using standard deployment tools
· Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN)
· Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
· Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
· Maintain inventory of IT equipment
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of desktop support or help desk experience
· Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
· Experience with Active Directory and basic networking concepts
· Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
· Ability to work onsite in Portland, OR
· CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
