Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in Burtonsville, MD, with opportunities for remote work.

The Mortgage Loan

Officer will be responsible for guiding homebuyers through the mortgage process, from application to closing.

Key responsibilities include evaluating borrower profiles, providing individualized lending solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulations and underwriting guidelines. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, proactively communicating with clients and partners, and collaborating with underwriting and loan processing teams to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge in Loan Origination, Mortgage Lending, and familiarity with the Mortgage Industry

Strong understanding of Underwriting processes and ability to assess financial documentation accurately

Exceptional Customer Service skills with a focus on clear communication and relationship-building

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and financial institutions

State licensing as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) or willingness to obtain licenses where required
