You will be joining the DevOps Data Services team as a Senior Oracle DBA, where you will play a crucial role in providing full-lifecycle production assistance across various environments. Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining Oracle database environments, ensuring synchronization between development and testing environments, and leading performance tuning initiatives. As a technical subject matter expert, you will troubleshoot complex production issues, enforce coding standards through peer reviews, and offer support for alternate database technologies. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure data integrity and service availability.

• **Operational Support:** Accountable for the operational support and continuous improvement of the Oracle estate and processes across different environments.
• **Automation & Efficiency:** Utilize automation and certified pipelines to reduce cycle times and enhance reliability, auditability, and traceability.
• **Governance & Standards:** Consistently apply and enhance database build standards and best practices to protect production environments.
• **Data Integrity:** Provide strong governance for the management and access of live data and ensure obfuscation technologies/practices are implemented.
• **Deployment Management:** Ensure project and change releases are packaged to high quality, repeatable between environments, and deployed within agreed timescales.
• **Continuous Improvement:** Address weak points in process, technology, and service through continual improvement initiatives.

• **Cloud & Automation:** Proficiency in working in public cloud environments and experience with automation deployment tools.
• **Performance Tuning:** Advanced skills in optimizing database performance and migration.
• **Security:** Ability to develop and implement data security guidelines while maintaining authorized access.
• **Desirable Skills:** Knowledge of SQL Server, automated testing of database releases, and mentoring experience.
