Bar Attendant

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Mixologist to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving specialty alcholic beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to food safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Previous restaurant and bar industry experience is a must. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality operations.

Duties

• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
• Serve beverages, and light food items to customers in a friendly manner
• Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures and basic math skills
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area according to food safety guidelines
• Restock supplies and ensure the display is appealing and well-organized
• Assist customers with questions regarding menu items and services
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
• Follow food safety protocols when handling food and beverages
• Ensure all serving areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times

Skills

• Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
• Must be smart serve certified
• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Hospitality mindset with a focus on providing an enjoyable customer experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
