As a Senior engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage the team while also being outcome driven in leading the team to achieve goals. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset with strong technical capability and ability to communicate effectively across with multi-functional collaborators. &nbsp;It will also be important for the candidate to champion engineering standard methodologies and be accountable for building an open, collaborative culture supporting impactful teams not only within Payments.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with senior leaders of finance, treasury, technical services and other engineering leaders &nbsp;in Ripple payments organizations lead the planning and execution of the asset management suites to power the liquidity movements to support all products of Ripple.</li> <li>Raise the standard of engineering excellence by implementing and driving standard methodologies for coding, testing, and deployment and by investing in Operational Excellence to continuously reduce complexity</li> <li>Defining the roadmap and plans for your team in addition to influencing planning and strategy of partners and the larger organization</li> <li>Lead and establish a team of dedicated engineers and empower them to grow their career and achieve professional goals.</li> <li>Lead the daily operations of the team alongside the technical leads and organizing them into effective self-organizing pods with clear goals, projects, and objectives and key results.</li> <li>Raise the standard of engineering excellence by implementing and driving standard processes for coding, testing, and deployment and by investing in Operational Excellence to continuously reduce complexity</li> <li>Influence the team to think big and be customer focused apart when building technically durable solutions.</li> <li>Lead by example by participating in code reviews, driving and influencing high-level and detailed technical design.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL BRING: </strong></p> <ul> <li>12+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer/Technical Authority</li> <li>3+ years leading Software Engineers</li> <li>Hands-on experience building distributed systems and micro-service architecture</li> <li>Proficient in Go/Java and Python</li> <li>Expertise in Kubernetes (or alike) and experience working with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS</li> <li>Proven experience working multi-functionally with Product, Program and other engineering leads etc.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position.
