About the role

We are looking to add an Operations Supervisor to our growing Operations Department. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily activities of the operations team to ensure efficient and effective workflow. This role involves supervising staff, monitoring processes, implementing procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

The Operations

Supervisor works closely with other departments to optimize productivity, improve operational efficiency, and meet performance targets. They are also responsible for training and developing team members, troubleshooting operational issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This on-site position is based at our Rockdale, TX facility.

What you’ll be doing

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes across all departments.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
• Monitor equipment and system performance, troubleshooting issues to prevent downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Lead and manage a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Liaise with other supervisors and departments to ensure seamless operations and communication across the site.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
• Report to upper management on operational performance, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to address concerns and streamline workflows.
• Ensure timely completion of all operational tasks within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and operational disruptions, coordinating the resolution efforts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
