Right To Live CanadaJob Description
About Right to Live
Right to Live is a federally registered start-up non-profit developing the missing referrable solution system for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), directly addressing economic euthanasia. This will fulfill the missing, required ‘viable alternative’ that MAiD program assessors are mandated to refer a patient to as the primary and sole method of diverting a qualified candidate from MAiD.
This represents a solution to economic euthanasia (defined as voluntary euthanasia where an alternative was possible but not offered or delivered) and to disability euthanasia (driven by systemic poverty present in Canadian disability support programs). We achieve this through a tripartite design:
- A national ‘viable alternative’ assessment service: To research and construct a viable alternative proposal package that is actionable and achievable.
- 1:1 Dedicated case navigator service: To take the generated plan and execute it to alleviate the source causes of suffering.
- Social brokerage service: An open market brokerage exchanging capital for life-affirming outcomes.
The Sales Division & The Role
Capital generation is the engine that will make our interventions possible. Right to Live is founding a remote, high-velocity B2B Sales Division dedicated exclusively to securing corporate sponsorships. These sponsorships monetize the value of our social impact, exchanging capital for marketing, brand association, and public ledger recognition tied to specific campaigns and outcomes.
Currently, this division is executing our Founding Sponsorship Campaign. The capital generated by this campaign secures the initial funding required to recruit core staff, launch operations, and execute a comprehensive three-case pilot. Upon completion of this founding round, the division will transition into executing ongoing, targeted B2B sponsorship campaigns to sustain and scale our national operations.
We are seeking a Provincial Sales Department Head to architect and lead this division within your region. Your role focuses entirely on recruitment, systemic scaling, and operational leadership. You will build your provincial sales department from the ground up by recruiting up to 10 Team Managers, who in turn will each recruit up to 10 Sales Representatives.
What You Will Do:
- Team Building: Execute the targeted recruitment, onboarding, and continuous management of 10 regional Team Managers. Direct them to build their 10-person teams, churning and replacing underperformers until the department is solid.
- Roster Management: Exercise complete authority to evaluate pipeline velocity and immediately coach, train or cycle out underperforming contractors.
- Drive the Metrics: Monitor the raw metrics of B2B sales across your province—outbound dials, pitch documents delivered, and closed revenue—using our shared Google Sheets CRM.
- Pipeline Management: Verify pipeline volume across the province and intervene to help your Team Managers clear bottlenecks to help deals close.
- Coach & Enforce: Facilitate weekly virtual meetings to maintain focus. Ensure your managers are supporting their representatives and enforcing our corporate pricing, pitch guidelines, and brand standards.
- Executive Reporting: Serve as the primary provincial reporting node, delivering direct, data-backed updates to the Executive Director regarding department health, pipeline velocity, and revenue targets.
Compensation: The ‘Livable Threshold’ System
This is a performance-driven contract role utilizing our proprietary commission system, mathematically designed to rapidly achieve a livable threshold of income.
- Pure commission algorithm that is optimized to quickly reach a threshold of $4,000/month.
- Your capture rate starts at 80% on the first dollar of your division’s pooled remainders and tapers linearly downward until your total take reaches exactly $4,000.
- Beyond $4,000, the algorithm locks into a stable, uncapped 4% base rate on your entire division's continuous remainder pool.
- Scaling to an anticipated $150,000 - $280,000+/year as the provincial department reaches projected equilibrium.
Requirements
- Proven experience in direct sales leadership, agency building, or managing high-volume outbound call networks.
- The operational discipline to manage a large remote workforce autonomously, without relying on automated management software.
- Comfort operating within a lean, essential tech stack (Google Sheets, Gmail, standard VoIP).
- Philosophical alignment with our mandate to provide a viable alternative to MAiD.
- Capable of managing your own schedule, output, and tax obligations as an independent contractor.
