Okta IAM Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer with strong coding skills and deep experience in Okta and modern IAM systems. This is a high‑visibility role focused on transforming our client's user identity platform, implementing enterprise SSO, and building a new authorization system from the ground up.

Pay Rate: $85- $110/hr. W2

What you will work on

• Lead the redesign of user identity management and authorization systems.
• Build and integrate Okta authorizers, custom authorizers, and cloud‑native IAM components.
• Implement SSO across multiple products and ensure identity/policy integration into Apogee (API).
• Write high-quality Java code and contribute to CI/CD and GitHub workflows daily.
• Work with Auth0, Kafka, and AWS cloud services.
• Collaborate with a fully remote engineering team

What you will bring

• Strong expertise with Okta (advanced configs, policies, APIs, custom integrations).
• Hands-on engineering depth with Java, CI/CD, GitHub, and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience with Auth0, SSO, and modern IAM architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS and Kafka.
• Excellent communication with senior technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-priority environment
