Healthcare RCM Generalist

About The Role

Rex.zone is hiring for Generalist Jobs in Canada focused on end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM). You will independently own multiple workstreams across the billing lifecycle, maintain audit-ready documentation, and drive measurable outcomes (clean claim rate, first-pass resolution, and reduced days in A/R).

What You Will Do

• Process claims and ensure clean claim submission with correct patient demographics, payer details, and required documentation
• Verify eligibility and benefits; coordinate prior authorizations when applicable and document outcomes in systems of record
• Post payments and adjustments; reconcile remittances (ERA/EOB) and identify underpayments
• Manage denials by analyzing reason codes, preparing appeals, correcting errors, and tracking root causes to prevent recurrence
• Maintain QA checks, follow SOPs, and contribute to reporting on accuracy, denial trends, throughput, and A/R performance

Required Qualifications

• Mid-senior experience in healthcare billing/RCM across claims, eligibility, payment posting, denials, and A/R follow-up
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and comfort with structured workflows, checklists, and QA sampling
• Ability to interpret payer rules, benefit summaries, remittance details, and denial reason codes
• Clear written communication for internal notes, payer follow-ups, and appeal narratives

Work Model

Remote role aligned to Canada-based hiring needs. You must be able to handle sensitive health information securely in line with applicable privacy and security requirements.

Compensation

Hourly base pay range: $30–$50 per hour (BASE_SALARY, HOURLY).
