Site HR Manager

About the Role

The SiteHRManager provides generalist support in the areas of employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, training & development, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Counsel facility managers on employee relations issues through consistent, equitable application of company policies and procedures; assist in the resolution of employee relations concerns and conduct investigations.
• Manage recruitment efforts within the assigned facilities; partner with facility managers to assess workforce planning needs, determine recruitment strategies for open and future roles, and provide support and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
• Identify cost‑effective recruitment sources and programs; build partnerships with local agencies, universities, vocational schools, etc., to source talent for open roles with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Provide support and guidance to managers in compensation, compliance, talent development, succession planning, performance management, retention strategies, effective record‑keeping, and general HR issues.
• Deliver corporate HR initiatives and programs effectively across the area.
• Assist in development, implementation, and communication of company policies and procedures.
• Create an environment of positive employee relations; balance business and employee needs, establish trust and credibility with employees, and be approachable and fair.
• Role‑model safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or HR (required).
• 5+ years of relevant HR experience; preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to travel up to 25%.
• Self‑starter with a creative approach to implementing HR practices; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and prioritize workload effectively. Ability to interact with all employee levels is essential.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office products.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
• Strong knowledge of employment/labor law and progressive HR practices.

Preferred

• SPHR/PHR certification.
• Experience with Workday.
• Knowledge of Lean Principles.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements, and/or union contracts (if applicable).

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
