Position Title: Networking and Telecom Trainer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and certified Networking and Telecom Trainer to join our new branch in Kollam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training students in computer networking and telecommunications systems, developing course materials, and preparing students for industry-recognized certifications. Candidates with Gulf experience will be given high preference.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery

• Deliver classroom and practical training in networking and telecom topics including:
• Network fundamentals (OSI and TCP/IP models)
• Routing and switching concepts
• IP addressing and subnetting
• Network security basics
• Wireless networking
• Fiber optics and structured cabling
• Telecom systems (PABX, VoIP, GSM, LTE)
• Prepare students for industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, and telecom-specific credentials
• Use engaging teaching methods including live network simulations, hands-on lab exercises, and real-world case studies

Curriculum Development

• Develop and update training modules, presentations, lab manuals, and assessment tools
• Align curriculum with latest industry standards and vendor certifications
• Create lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level learners

Lab and Equipment Management

• Set up and maintain networking lab with routers, switches, firewalls, and telecom equipment
• Configure simulation tools such as Cisco Packet Tracer or GNS3 for virtual labs
• Ensure all training equipment is functional and updated

Student Assessment and Support

• Conduct written exams, practical lab assessments, and configuration projects
• Provide individual feedback and guidance to students
• Maintain student attendance, progress reports, and certification records

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure all training meets REWAQ International Institute quality standards
• Stay updated on latest networking technologies and telecom trends
• Assist in internal and external audit preparations

• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), switching (VLAN, STP), and network troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Cisco devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Familiarity with telecom systems including PABX, VoIP, SIP, and GSM fundamentals
• Proficiency in network simulation tools (Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, EVE-NG)
• Knowledge of network security basics (firewalls, VPN, ACLs)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus)
• Ability to simplify complex networking concepts for beginners
• Confident public speaking and classroom management skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, online teaching platforms)
