Position: Field-Based Hydro Plant Operator Role

Revolve Renewable Power seeks a Plant Operator to manage hydroelectric operations at Hunter Creek and Sakwi Creek in Fraser Valley, BC. This role focuses on safe and efficient energy production.

As a Plant Operator, you will be engaged in daily monitoring, maintenance support, and emergency response actions in remote outdoor settings. This hands-on position necessitates clear communication and ownership of your duties while collaborating with contractors and technical specialists. Your contributions will directly impact operational reliability and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor hydroelectric generation equipment safely
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and systems
• Diagnose and respond to alarms and operational concerns
• Support startup, shutdown, and maintenance activities
• Record and maintain thorough documentation of operations

Requirements

• Red Seal Electrical or Mechanical certification desirable
• 3-5 years of experience in hydro operations or heavy maintenance
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills necessary
• Must possess a valid BC driver's license
• Experience with remote travel and outdoor labor
