Political Reporter

Republic Media Network is looking for dynamic, sharp, and passionate Political Reporters to join our newsroom in Noida.

If you have a strong understanding of Indian politics, excellent reporting instincts, and the ability to break stories with speed and accuracy, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover political developments, elections, policy decisions, and government affairs
• Break exclusive political stories and develop reliable sources
• Report live from the field, press conferences, assemblies, and key political events
• Coordinate closely with newsroom editors and production teams
• Deliver accurate, factual, and fast-paced reporting under tight deadlines
• Track political trends, narratives, and developments across parties and regions
• Conduct interviews with political leaders, spokespersons, and analysts

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in political reporting/journalism
• Strong understanding of Indian politics and current affairs
• Excellent communication and on-camera reporting skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure newsroom environment
• Strong network within political circles is preferred
• Prior experience with television or digital news platforms is an advantage
