Job Description
RenewMe Fitness is looking to immediately hire 1-2 well qualified personal trainers to start in-home training in the DC Metro Area.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Personal trainers, especially those with rehab experience in a physical therapy setting, or those with experience in the medical field.
- Experience with or willing to learn about: patients recovering from stroke; Parkinson’s; Multiple Sclerosis; Cerebral Palsy; spinal cord injuries; joint replacements; fibromyalgia; lymphedema; vertigo; vestibular conditions; balance training; gait training; bed mobility; exercises to improve ADLs (Activities of Daily Living); dementia; post-concussion syndrome; neck, shoulder, back, knee, ankle, hip pain; weight loss; elderly clients (50-100); functional fitness; corrective exercise; post-rehabilitation fitness; pre-habilitation fitness.
PERSONALITY:
**MUST HAVE HEART! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO HELP A CLIENT THAT NEEDS IT, THEN YOU ARE NOT THE RIGHT FIT FOR US**

QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; willing to drive to clients’ homes
- Valid CPR Certification
- Suggested education:
1. Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or other science/body-related field. (DPT, PT, PTA, OT, OTA)*
2. Certified Personal Trainer with at least 1 year of experience
*If you have a degree mentioned above and are not yet certified to be a personal trainer, RenewMe Fitness will pay for you to become certified.
COMMITMENT:
Part-time: 10-30 hours a week
PLEASE NOTE: Our region is Montgomery County, DC, and Northern Virginia. Our clients receive training IN-HOME, one-on-one, or gather in group settings around the community. You must be able to drive to clients and be comfortable in their residential homes, assisted/independent living communities, nursing facilities, etc. At this time, we are prioritizing applicants who are willing and able to train clients within Washington DC.
COMPENSATION
Starting at $40/hour with minimal experience. Salary increases significantly depending on education, degrees, certifications, licenses, experience, etc. There are opportunities for raises every 6 months of continuous employment.

- We do in-home Medical Fitness in the DMV. Most clients are in Bethesda, but we train clients all over the DC Metro Area. Right now we are specifically looking to hire trainers who are willing and able to train in DC. Are you able to train in these areas?
