Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting software issues, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
- Support computer management tasks such as installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software components.
- Help maintain and troubleshoot computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), and firewall configurations.
- Support the management of IT infrastructure tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory, and BMC Remedy.
- Assist with help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Jira to document issues and track resolutions.
- Contribute to network administration tasks including TCP/IP configuration, DNS management, and monitoring network performance using tools like Meraki.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques and customer service skills.
- Exposure to networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, LAN setup, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
- Experience with IT support tools like SCCM, GPO, Active Directory, ServiceNow or Jira is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
