Job Description

The applicant for this position should have a minimum of Three (3) Years prior work related experience as a pipe layer for underground, wet utilities (Water, Storm Drains & Sewage Mains). The applicant must be able to set a laser, set transit, carry grade, use pipe saw, jumping tamper, walk-behind roller, read rule, and able to lift 50 pounds or more.

This is a full-time, day position, with some evening & weekend work. Weekly Hours can vary with weather conditions. Applicants must be dependable and available to work as needed. This location serves Southern and Central Maryland, applicant must be willing to commute when necessary.

Pipe Layer Job Requirements:

• Qualified applicants must have a valid U.S. Driver's License or Valid Photo ID
• Must have own transportation to work as we are not accessible by public transportation.
• Able to work in a safe manner, follow OSHA guidelines and keep work area clean.
• Reliable attendance. Must have a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable Contracting is a drug free company. Applicants will be required to take a post-hire drug screen and physical exam if offered a position.
• Minimum age requirement is 18 due to the hazardous nature of work.
