Agricultural Equipment Repair Technician

Become a key player at Prairie AG as an Agricultural Equipment Repair Technician, focusing on diagnostic and repair tasks in both shop and outdoor settings. Your technical skills will enhance customer productivity.

This position revolves around maintaining and improving equipment functionality through effective repairs and preventative maintenance strategies. You will actively work alongside a team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide outstanding service to our customers. Your role will also necessitate documenting all service activities accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance and component replacements
• Conduct thorough equipment performance testing post-repair
• Keep a safe, organized, and tidy working environment
• Share technical knowledge with apprentices and junior technicians

Requirements

• Journeyperson certification in Agricultural or Heavy Equipment preferred
• Experience in servicing agricultural machinery
• Strong ability to communicate service recommendations
• Valid driver’s license required
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards
