Position

Under the supervision of the Quality Control Director, the Project Quality Manager is responsible for the project files management for all aspects related to quality. He ensures the conformity and quality of the products developed and manufactured by the company as well as by the subcontractors. He works closely with the Suppliers Quality Control Managers, the Projects Managers, the Methods department, the Quality Assurance Director and the Foremen.

Responsibilities

  • Read and analyze quotes to identify quality requirements;
  • Define and formalize the quality requirements specific to each contract (e.g., quality plan);
  • Define and prepare all the quality deliverables of the project;
  • Write construction and test plans for all stages of manufacturing (factory manufacturing and on-site installation work);
  • Participate in progress meetings with customers and represent the quality function;
  • Write and/or manage inspection reports and other quality documents;
  • Validate quality records and ensure compliance;
  • Constitute, update and manage the collection of quality records;
  • Write, track and close non-compliance reports, in coordination with stakeholders;
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the quality management system.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • College or Bachelor degree in industrial mechanics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of metrology, welding and painting;
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Good ability to meet planning and coordination requirements;
  • Autonomy, rigor and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Initiative and creativity in finding solutions;
  • Great ability to work in a team and in collaboration with different departments.
