</div></div><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span data-teams="true">Development Engineering Technician</span></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Development Engineering Technician at Redwood Materials supports research and pilot-scale operations by executing laboratory and manufacturing experiments that drive the development of new equipment, process flowsheets, and sustainable products. This role is responsible for building and maintaining lab and pilot equipment, preparing solutions, conducting wet-chemistry bench experiments, and powder handling, and mechanical analyses. The technician monitors and troubleshoots experiments in both lab and high-volume production environments while supporting the development and validation of new metrology systems. Success in this position requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on laboratory experience, attention to safety, and the ability to follow detailed technical procedures in fast-paced conditions. The ideal candidate is organized, technically skilled, safety-conscious, and motivated by a passion for sustainability and innovation.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities will Include:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain pilot and lab equipment</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare solutions and conduct wet-chemistry bench experiments</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform chemical analyses, optical measurements, and mechanical tests</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Run and monitor experiments in high volume manufacturing and in a fast-paced environment</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support the development of new metrology systems and prove their capabilities</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hands on experience building complex mechanical systems</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Laboratory experience in wet-chemistry and bench top experiments</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work performed in varied indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to hazardous materials and challenging conditions (noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes) while wearing required PPE for extended periods</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to follow and apply established procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mechanical design and fabrication experience</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hands on experience building complex mechanical systems</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Laboratory experience in wet-chemistry and bench top experiments</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong written and verbal communication</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Organization and documentation skills</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Travel required as needed</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Must maintain regular and punctual attendance in alignment with company and regulatory standards</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Must be able to communicate clearly</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></span></p>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Split work environment between office and the production facility</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work may involve extended periods of working in the production facility</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">May require occasional work weekends or alternate shifts to support production needs</span></li>
