Senior Analyst, Treasury Operations

Drive operational transformation in a global insurance environment by analyzing processes, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This hybrid role leverages SQL, Power BI, and process improvement expertise to enhance efficiency, governance, and business performance in a high-visibility setting.

What is in it for you:

  • Salaried: $44-52 per hour.
  • Incorporated Business Rate: $53-63 per hour.
  • 9-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, daytime schedule.
  • Flexible working hours to support collaboration with international teams.
  • Remote on Monday and Friday.
  • On-site Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of current operational processes to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
  • Document current and future-state workflows with clarity and structure to support transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business, finance, and technology stakeholders to align on process improvements and execution plans.
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools to monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Support prioritization, planning, and execution of process optimization initiatives.
  • Measure and report on performance improvements, including efficiency gains and risk reduction.
  • Facilitate communication across teams and provide guidance on best practices in operational excellence.
  • Ensure proper documentation and governance to support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CBAP, CPA, or equivalent are considered an asset.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Finance or Treasury Operations, process optimization, operational excellence, or management consulting.
  • Proven experience in process analysis, documentation, and delivering actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of finance or treasury operations, including exposure to payments processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with process mapping, project management tools, or workflow automation platforms is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
