Systems Engineer; Infrastructure Engineer

Position: Systems Engineer (Infrastructure Engineer)

RCT is hiring an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical Entitlement Programs, including IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, and digital policy management. The role blends systems administration, cloud engineering, and infrastructure design, with a focus on AWS-based environments, modern Dev Ops practices, and resilient architectures.

• Maintain and enhance infrastructure for both legacy and new mission applications.
• Design and deploy modern solutions (containers, serverless, self-healing systems).
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team with 3-week delivery cycles.
• Participate in backlog grooming, planning, and team collaboration.
• Share operational (O&M) duties, including limited after-hours on-call rotation.
• BS with 8–12 years or MS with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Strong AWS experience (console & CLI).
• Linux systems administration and Bash scripting.
• Infrastructure as Code (Cloud Formation).
• Automation tools (Jenkins, Rundeck).
• Security accreditation and controls experience.
• Excellent communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience.
• High-availability and multi-region failover design.
• Log aggregation/analysis (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
• IdAM/ICAM and entitlement systems experience.
• Serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Python).
• AWS certifications.
• Knowledge of IAM and Zero Trust principles.
