As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional with 1-2 years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing and quality assurance processes for software products. Your role will involve developing, maintaining, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. In addition, you will collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the cycle. Your expertise in manual and automated testing, along with strong analytical skills, will be essential for ensuring product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Coordinate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the cycle.
- Implement and manage automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- Define and monitor QA metrics to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, Postman).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
