Job Description
You will be responsible for working on modern communication systems, VoIP infrastructure, and real-time media platforms. As a PBX / VoIP & Networking Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining PBX systems such as Asterisk, FreePBX, and 3CX
- Configuring and managing SIP trunking, dial plans, IVR systems, and call routing
- Working with WebRTC infrastructure and LiveKit for real-time communication services
- Troubleshooting VoIP issues related to SIP, RTP, NAT, and firewall configurations
- Monitoring and optimizing voice quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss
- Configuring and maintaining network infrastructure like routers, switches, and firewalls
- Managing networking components including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and NAT policies
- Deploying and maintaining Linux-based servers used for telecom services
- Collaborating with engineering teams to support telecom integrations and APIs
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of telecom systems
You should possess the following required skills:
- Hands-on experience with IP PBX / VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of VoIP protocols including SIP, RTP, and WebRTC
- Experience working with LiveKit or other real-time communication platforms
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, NAT, VLAN, VPN, DNS, and firewall configuration
- Experience working in Linux server environments
- Ability to troubleshoot network and voice quality issues in production environments
Preferred qualifications for the role include:
- Experience with cloud-based telephony infrastructure
- Familiarity with real-time media streaming technologies
- Experience integrating telecom systems with APIs or AI-driven platforms
- Experience with monitoring and performance analysis tools
