Senior Legal Assistant – Family Law

Location: Fairfax, VA (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in-office)

Our growing family law firm is seeking a reliable and highly organized Legal Assistant to support attorneys and ensure the smooth day-to-day management of cases.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Manage Paralegal calendars, including court dates, client meetings, and deadlines.
• Track and monitor legal deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
• Assist with preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties to gather information and documents.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the legal team.
• Effectively handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in family law.
• Availability to work in-office at least 3 days per week.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with calendar management and deadline tracking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
