The Role We are seeking a highly driven Production Supervisor to be the operational force on our shop floor. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, your primary objective is to execute the weekly production plan without deviation. You will oversee the daily activities of the fabrication and assembly teams, aggressively manage our outsourced job-workers, and ensure that every machine moves through the production pipeline seamlessly, on time, and to our exact quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Floor Execution: Drive the daily output of welders, fitters, and assembly technicians. Ensure workers hit their daily targets and that workstations are prepared with the necessary drawings and raw materials before the shift begins to eliminate idle time.
• Outsourcing & Vendor Management: Take complete ownership of outsourced manufacturing processes (e.g., specialized machining, powder coating). Track outgoing raw materials via challans, follow up relentlessly for timely delivery, and coordinate with Quality Control upon receipt.
• Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks on the floor (e.g., waiting for parts from the store, waiting for QC clearance) and resolve them instantly to keep the production line moving.
• Reporting & Feedback Loops: Maintain accurate daily production logs. Provide the Production Manager with end-of-day reports on targets achieved, delays encountered, and resource shortages.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work hand-in-hand with the Stores department to ensure material availability, and with the QC department to ensure any rework is completed immediately without disrupting the broader schedule.

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of supervisory experience on the shop floor of a capital equipment, machinery, or sheet metal manufacturing company.
• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Strong man-management skills; you must be capable of commanding respect from experienced shop-floor technicians while maintaining strict discipline.
• Proven experience in managing outsourced vendors and job-workers.
• High organizational skills with the ability to track multiple moving parts (materials, manpower, outsourced items) simultaneously.

Compensation & Location

• Salary: ₹3,00,000 to ₹4,50,000 CTC per annum (Based on experience and ability to manage labor efficiently).
• Location: Vasai, Maharashtra (Candidates residing on the Western suburban network will be heavily prioritized).
• Schedule: Full-Time.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
