Responsibilities of Operations Coordinator:
- Manages the operational aspects of a restaurant
- Acts as the responsible party overseeing operations and handling opening and closing procedures for the dining establishment
- Oversees the management of cash transactions and guarantees responsibility
- Upholds and implements the established guidelines and regulations of Raising Canes
- Conducting a meeting on overseeing shift operations at Raising Canes to enhance safety and performance standards
- Utilizes necessary equipment, documents, and records to facilitate the completion of tasks during a shift, record outcomes, and implement necessary adjustments if required
- Assigns staff members to specific tasks throughout a work period
- Offers outstanding customer support
- The restaurant implements a system of rewards and acknowledgment to motivate their Crewmembers
- Grants permission for employee tasks that necessitate managerial consent, such as discounts, promotions, and overrides on the time clock
- Makes sure the restaurant is kept clean and properly maintained
- Carries out additional tasks as required
Physical demands of Operations Coordinator:
- Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as bending, kneeling, twisting, and reaching both above and below the waist
- Ascend and descend stairs with ease, navigate them proficiently, and maintain your balance while moving around during your working hours
- Precisely record requests, handle transactions promptly, and maintain effective communication
- Ensure your safety when working with hot cooking appliances, cleaning agents, and basic ingredients such as oil and flour
- Uphold a hygienic and secure dining establishment in accordance with food safety protocols and organizational guidelines
- On occasion, I operate vehicles for the Company to fulfill work responsibilities such as collecting supplies for the Restaurant, as necessary for business operations like when a manager is absent or a position is vacant
Qualifications of Operations Coordinator:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience
- Possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
- Must complete all required Raising Canes company training programs
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
