Job Purpose
The Middle School Coordinator is responsible for overseeing academic planning, curriculum implementation, student performance, and teacher supervision for middle school grades (typically Grades 6–8). The role ensures smooth academic operations, quality teaching, and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Planning & Curriculum Implementation
- Ensure effective implementation of the prescribed curriculum and academic calendar.
- Monitor lesson plans, syllabus coverage, and classroom delivery.
- Support teachers with innovative teaching methodologies and subject enrichment.
- Ensure alignment with board guidelines and school standards.
2. Teacher Supervision & Development
- Supervise and mentor middle school teachers.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Monitor teacher attendance, substitution planning, and workload distribution.
3. Student Performance & Assessment
- Track and analyze student academic performance.
- Ensure timely conduct of assessments, exams, and result preparation.
- Plan remedial classes and enrichment programs for students.
- Address academic concerns and support student progress.
4. Discipline & Student Management
- Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to school rules.
- Handle student behavioral issues in coordination with parents and management.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
5. Examination & Academic Coordination
- Plan and execute examinations, including timetable, invigilation, and evaluation.
- Ensure accuracy in result compilation and report cards.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.
6. Parent Communication
- Coordinate PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).
- Address parent queries and concerns regarding academics and behavior.
- Ensure effective communication between school and parents.
7. Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare academic reports and performance analysis.
- Assist in timetable preparation and academic scheduling.
- Ensure proper documentation of lesson plans, assessments, and reports.
- Support school events, activities, and inspections.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
