Quality Control (QC) Specialist / Inspector – Manufacturing

We are hiring a QC Specialist / Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN supporting a large-scale commercial data center project. This role focuses on inspecting raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met throughout production.

Pay & Schedule

• $32–$36/hr based on experience
• 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
• Weekly pay
• Long-term project (1.5–2 years)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials and assemblies
• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet specifications and are production-ready
• Verify products meet drawings, specs, tolerances, and quality standards
• Identify defects and work with production to resolve issues
• Maintain inspection reports and QA/QC documentation
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives

Quality Control (Inspection & Testing)

• Perform inspections on:
• Electrical power components (switchgear, panels, etc.)
• Modular assemblies and fabricated components
• Verify installation and assembly against:
• Drawings, specs, and tolerances
• Industry standards (NEC/NFPA, UL, etc.)
• Conduct and document:
• Basic electrical testing (continuity, checks, etc.)
• Mechanical inspections

Requirements

• 4+ years of QC/inspection experience in manufacturing (automotive, equipment, or similar)
• Experience with raw material inspection and quality control
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
• Reliable and ready to work

Preferred

• Experience in data center, electrical, or modular manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70), UL, or similar standards
• Background in mechanical or electrical assembly

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
