Location: Toronto, ON(Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js
• Build reusable, responsive, and accessible UI components following modern frontend best practices
• Implement SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) strategies for better SEO and performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and type-safe code using TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Optimize frontend applications for speed, scalability, and performance
• Apply functional programming concepts in frontend and Node.js development
• Contribute to frontend architecture and technical design discussions
• Ensure accessibility compliance using semantic HTML and ARIA standards
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and production support activities

Required Skills

• Strong experience with React.js
• Hands-on experience with Next.js
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Functional Components and React Hooks
• Good understanding of SSR and SSG concepts
• Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills
• Experience building responsive and accessible UI components
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques
• Basic understanding of Node.js fundamentals
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Git version control
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library
• Understanding of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
