About Quantis

Quantis Wealth Management is an integrated wealth management and tax planning firm serving individuals, families, executives, business owners, and retirees. Our tax practice works closely with our wealth advisory team to provide clients with a coordinated, planning-focused experience.

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate with strong individual income tax preparation experience and a client-service mindset. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys high-quality tax preparation, thoughtful client support, and working within a collaborative planning environment.

Position Overview

The Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing routine to moderately complex tax returns for individuals, families, and select small business clients. The majority of the work will involve individual income tax preparation, with some exposure to small business returns and trust and estate tax matters.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of solid income tax preparation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during tax season while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns.
  • Prepare select small business tax returns, including Schedule C, partnerships, S corporations, or related filings as appropriate.
  • Assist with trust and estate income tax returns, including fiduciary income tax matters.
  • Review client tax documents and identify missing information or planning opportunities.
  • Communicate with clients regarding tax questions, document requests, and return status.
  • Work closely with the wealth management team to coordinate tax-sensitive planning items.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow firm procedures for tax preparation and review.
  • Support year-round tax planning, projections, and client service initiatives.
  • Stay current on relevant federal and state tax law changes.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of strong individual income tax preparation experience required.
  • Experience preparing returns for high-income individuals, retirees, business owners, or investment-oriented clients preferred.
  • Familiarity with small business tax returns preferred.
  • Trust and fiduciary income tax experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA, EA, or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
  • Strong technical tax knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines during tax season.
  • Professional, client-focused, and team-oriented approach.

Compensation & Benefits

Quantis offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Salary range: $90,000–$125,000, depending on experience
  • 100% employer-paid health care
  • 401(k) plan with 4% employer match
  • Life insurance
  • Disability insurance
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Profit sharing
  • Collaborative professional environment with exposure to integrated tax and wealth planning

Why Join Quantis

This is an opportunity to join a growing advisory and tax firm where tax work is not treated as a standalone compliance function. At Quantis, our tax team plays an important role in helping clients make better financial decisions through coordinated planning, preparation, and advice.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with a high-quality client base, collaborate with experienced advisors, and grow within a firm that values technical excellence, client service, and long-term professional development.
