Senior Civil and Structural Engineer

Job Description

As an Engineer (Structures), you will be responsible for end-to-end civil/structural design and coordination for solar PV and Substation projects for supporting engineering functions.

Duties & Responsibilities: -

• Design and analysis of Steel & RCC Structures (Buildings/Solar module mounting structures/Switchyard Equipment supporting structures, retaining wall, etc) using staad pro software and be familiar with current design standard and working practices.
• Design of foundations (Isolated Footing/Combined Footing/Piling/Ramming/Mat).
• Design of Road & Drains.
• Preparation of design report for submission to client.
• Preparation of BOQS, Technical Specification, Cost Estimates & Tender documents.
• Review and finalization of Civil & Steel Structural drawings.
• Assist in bid finalization, getting approval on design and drawings from client.
• Attend design review meeting with client/consultant.
• Interface with clients, EPCs, and internal teams to ensure project delivery timelines and resolving design issues.
• Must be well versed with AutoCAD and staad pro.
• To carry out site visits in India and Abroad.
• Follow the integrated management system (IMS) requirement set by the company.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, MS Excel.
• Strong grip on Indian and International standard and foundation design.
• Experience in solar/wind structures is highly desirable.
• Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments.

Understanding of construction practices and technical documentation.
