Data Scientist

Toronto, ON- Hybrid(3 to 4 days a week Onsite)

Long Term Contract(6 Months to start with)

Collaborate with data engineers on ETL processes while performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and data manipulation using Python.

Develop, validate, and document traditional machine learning models, and work with MLOps teams to deploy them into production.

Data Engineering Collaboration Work with data engineers on data ETL processes.

Exploratory Data Analysis Perform feature engineering| data manipulation| and analysis using tools like Pandas| NumPy| SciPy| etc.

Model Development Build traditional machine learning models (non-GenAI, LLM, NLP)| focusing on classification (primarily)| regression| and clustering.

Model Validation Testing Ensure accuracy and robustness of models.

Documentation Prepare detailed model documentation.

Deployment Collaborate with MLOps teams for production deployment.

Experience Required: 6-8
