Roles and Responsibilities
We are hiring an IT Technical Writer with 2-5 years of experience to create and maintain clear, structured documentation for IT systems, applications, and processes. The role involves working closely with cross-functional IT teams to develop SOPs, runbooks, user guides, and API documentation while ensuring alignment with ITIL and compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualification
- Strong understanding of IT concepts such as:
- Operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Networking fundamentals
- Databases and applications
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint, MS Word, Google Docs)
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and SDLC
- Strong written, editing, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience documenting APIs, infrastructure, or cloud environments
- Knowledge of Markdown, HTML, or basic scripting
- Experience with version control tools (Git)
- Exposure to cybersecurity or compliance documentation
