Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Node.js Fullstack Developer in Halifax to support the end-to-end CLM Transformation Program, focused on front-end development and real-time application capabilities.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full stack features using React (Next.js) and Express
Implement real-time communication layers using Socket.io and server-side events
Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces for CLM platform capabilities
Collaborate with back-end developers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot and similar) in daily workflows
Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement

Requirements

5+ years of full stack development experience with strong Node.js proficiency
Hands-on experience with React and Next.js
Experience with Express, Socket.io, and server-side events
Understanding of real-time application patterns and event-driven architectures
Familiarity with client onboarding, KYC/AML, or CLM workflows in financial services is a plus
Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
