Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Node.js Developer in Halifax to support the end-to-end CLM Transformation Program, focused on back-end integrations, messaging, and data infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop back-end integrations for CLM platforms using Node.js
- Build and maintain messaging infrastructure using Solace and Kafka
- Implement and optimize Redis caching, ElasticSearch, and database layers (MongoDB, MS SQL)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver against program milestones
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot and similar) in daily workflows
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong Node.js proficiency
- Experience with messaging systems (Solace, Kafka, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Redis, ElasticSearch, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Working knowledge of MS SQL
- Familiarity with client onboarding, KYC/AML, or CLM workflows in financial services is preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
